So here's the deal (for those of you who still actually watch me or maybe care about my life haha). I'm in college now *SUNY new paltz GOOO* and I don't have much time for photography. which sucks. I've really drifted away from it and it's become more of a rare hobby for me. Especially because i don't have the time or the transportation to go and take pictures. I don't even know what to take pictures of anymore! When I was really into my photography groove I would go nuts whenever I saw something that would make a good shot and it was quite often that i saw that. Nature got me really excited. But now I don't see that as much. I see a pretty flower and eh whatever. I could get a good picture of it but I don't really care that much. Don't get me wrong, when I do make time to go out and take pictures of things i still enjoy it very much, but I'm definitely not crazy about it anymore. Makes me kinda sad. I want to get back into it over the summer (although I probably won't with a job, 2 vacations, and a social life lol) and maybe try and switch up my content. I have the means, I just need the motivation and the creativity to set shit up.
I also want to start playing bass again but that's another story.
Some new and old things: I am an art major yaay. I think I'll declare a painting/drawing concentration soon. I probably wont go for the BFA because I'd like to graduate on time and not die with the extra cedits I'll probably have to take for it. As it is, I'm going to have rough waters ahead of me with all the classes I have to take for the regular Visual Art major. Plus, the BFA won't make me more qualified as an artist and it's not like an art degree is guna get me much more than a Bachelor of Science anyway. I want to be a tattoo artist and apparently there are people who become tatt artists who have no training in art and just have "potential" so whatever. My fish of two years, hamburger, is still alive and very feisty. My boyfriend and I are still together and awesomer than ever despite a little mishap in october that I will NOOOT talk about. Hmmm I'm going to the grand canyon in a few weeks with my fam and then my man and I are going to roadtrip down to Georgia in July. I dyed my bangs green which is fun and right after my last journal entry, in August of 2011 lol, I got a big ol' octopus tattooed on my back.
